John Kelly
John Kelly is a musician and singer. He was inspired to join the Disability Rights movement by the protests and literature of the campaigns for Civil rights in the 1990. He now works as a singer, often putting protest song to music as an important element of his regular touring: he collaborated with Fender to create a personalised electric guitar – the Kellycaster. John appeared at the 2012 Paralympic opening ceremony and as the voice of Ian Dury, in the Graeae theatre musical “Reasons to be Cheerful.” John is infamous for getting Conservative minister to sing Disability “rebel songs” at the opening of NDACA at the House of Lords.
