Rachel Charlton-Dailey
Rachel Charlton-Dailey is an award winning disabled journalist, activist and author. She/they have written for or appeared on The Canary, BBC, The Unwritten, The Big Issue, Metro, the Guardian and the Daily Mirror. Her recent book, “Ramping up Rights” looks at the history of British Disability Activism. She is particularly critical of the “cross party” attitudes towards the expendability of Disabled people that she has identified in British politics and Governments since 1997. These attitudes shaped the treatment of Disabled people during the COVID epidemic.
