A series of colour photos taken by Keith Armstrong documenting a march and rally in Trafalgar Square.

01.TIF shows a part of the crowd in Trafalgar Square. In the foreground with their backs to the camera are a white bearded man in a white suit and Panama hat (Allan Sutherland) and a white man wearing a patterned jumper using a wheelchair (Keith Armstrong) There is a home made placard on a pole attached to the back of Keith's chair that reads "Apartheid isn't dead. It's alive and kicking Disabled People" A woman using a mobility scooter is entering right of frame and part of one of the Square's lion statues and disabled portaloos can be seen in the foreground.

02.TIF shows Sian Vasey seated in her wheelchair. She has a number of campaign leaflets and a copy of the Big Issue tucked into the seat next to her and there is a disposable camera in her lap. A woman's arm using a crutch can be see onthe right of the image. Other march participants can be seen behind her, with the front of the South African Embassy behind them. A white woman using a wheelchair. She is wearing a white top, pale patterned skirt, sunglasses and white drop earrings. Her mouth is slightly opened like she is speaking and she holds a small tube of lotion in her hand

03.TIF shows 5 white men and a white woman seated on a bench in the sun. The banner of the National League of the Blind and Disabled is behind them. Everyone in the image is blind or partially sighted: several white sticks and a sleeping guide dog are in the photo. It is a hot day and the group appears to be resting: 3 of the men are in shirt sleeves, one has a knotted handkerchief on his head and the woman is drinking a can of Tango. One man has two cameras round his neck

04.TIF shows a section of the crowd listening to speeches. 2 women using wheelchairs and a woman using crutches can be seen. One wheelchair user holds a homemade placard reading "Choices and Rights in our lives." A photographer can be seen. It is a hot day and many people are wearing sunglasses.

05.TIF shows Jane Campbell. She is seated in her wheelchair looking at the photographer. A "Rights Now" badge and ribbons are pinned to her top. A young white woman with red hair and wearing a blue and green patterned top, using a wheelchair. She looks relaxed and quietly confident. Other crowd members can be seen behind her including a black man wearing sun glasses, white T shirt and smart suit jacket.

06.TIF shows people in the crowd listening to speeches. In the foreground is a middle aged white woman with brown hair and glasses. She is wearing a lilac patterned dress and holding a Rights Now! leaflet and a Socialist Worker Printed sign that reads "Disability Civil Rights Bill. Stop Tory discrimination. Equal rights now!" Another identical placard is held by a young balck woman standing behind he. Several people in the crowd are holding balloons marked "Rights for disabled people" . An older white woman with a scarlet dress, white coat and holding a walking stick is in the foreground to the right of the image
